Haven’t used it yet.
No leaks, all the air comes through the filter. This should prevent the virus from reaching me, I think, with the bonus of preventing me from touching my face if I forget.
I wore it for 2 poker tournaments tonight. This was my first experience with it. The first game, I was uncertain whether I was short of air or hyperventilating, but it definitely didn't "feel right" due to the noticable vacuum required to draw air through the filter. By the 2nd game, I was used to it, and felt moderately normal. The poker games were about 2 hours each. I was able to play all the way through without finding a reason to take the mask off.
This is just what I needed to allow me to enjoy poker without putting my life at risk from the virus since I'm 73, and would most likely die if I contracted it. Nobody at the poker tables is visibly sick, but there should be good protection from the "stealth" folks that have it and don't know it.
This is probably a unique solution for this problem. It was worth the money in my opinion.
How often do the filter disks need to be replaced and how does one know when the filter should be replaced.
If the use and functionality of the mask etc. is unsatisfactory, will I receive a full refund and postage?
This mask is well made. It does fit over glasses. To wear this mask like any mask one will have to adjust it to fit and seal properly. I had no problem breathing through the N95 filter. The mask is hard to speak through though.
The filters arrived quickly there was a bit of a delay with an earlier order maybe the masks are to popular but eventually everything arrived.
So I’m happy with the product. The mask is more comfortable than the 3m duel filter makman es but it takes more effort to inhale with these than with a 3m mask which uses rural filters. This is probably the price leader for full face masks. I use it from time to time when shopping but also have a 3m full face mask and a welding PAPR mask as well.
